Hemlock is a modern furniture company based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We highlight wood from the state tree of Pennsylvania- the Hemlock tree. Typically, hemlock wood is used as understructure material. Here, we chose to highlight this beautiful piece of the outdoors to make affordable, yet luxurious and modern looking pieces for your home.

When creating this brand, my goal was to showcase this beautiful, affordable and seemingly unknown material. I researched the location of where this material is found when creating the system, and wanted to bring nature elements into the designs to draw in consumers quickly. My goal is to make customers feel like they are bringing a beautiful piece of nature into their homes when they are purchasing a Hemlock piece. Along with that, they are modernizing their home and bringing in a statement piece that will draw visitor’s eyes immediately upon walking in the room.
